If you happen to be in Hunedoara county in August… (ENGLISH VERSION)

Hi, if you like rock music and music festivals, you might be interested in this. If you are in Hunedoara county (or in Romania and able to travel) this August, you might want to go to Măgura Rocks! music festival, between the 24th and 26th of August.  The location hosted two previous festivals, Măgura Wave, and this year they decided to change lanes a bit, so Măgura Rocks! was born, a festival dedicated to those who live for good music.

The lineup is as follows:

I am looking forward to watching Les Elephants Bizarres sing live (video of their most known song is below), so for me they’re the headliners, but Vama and Holograf are the bigger names. Whether you know them and like them or you just want to discover some great Romanian musicians, you should know that there is an early bird offer. You can buy tickets for a day for 30 lei (6.50 €) or for the entire weekend for 80 lei (17 €). After July 10th, tickets cost 40 and 100 lei (9 € and 22 €) and atfer August 11th, 50 and 120 lei (11 € and 26 €).

You can easily get to Măgura by car, it is situated very close to the highway (some distances to the bigger cities: 160 km to Cluj-Napoca, 120 km to Sibiu, 65 km to Alba Iulia, 17 km to Hunedoara and 10 km to Deva). There will be a camping site with showers and toilets and also free parking.

Tickets can be purchased online, here.
